Past and Present Photography

Past and present photography can be done in two ways. One is to hold up an old photograph of a certain location and photographing it at the same location in the present time. The other method is to recreate a childhood photo and place it side by side to show a before and after effect. This genre of photography is fun and a good way to reminisce about the past. It doesn’t merely showcase a certain setting but it also tries to show the memories it holds. Past and present photography caught a trend as millions of people tried to capture this type of photography and re-lived poignant and bittersweet memories.
