The resolution setting determines the quality of your image. For web use, a resolution of 72 dpi is generally sufficient, while print quality typically requires 300 dpi or higher. In the Resolution field of the Image Size dialog box, input your desired dpi setting. If you’re preparing an image for high-quality print, opt for 300 dpi to ensure sharpness and clarity. 

7. Press Enter to Change the Size

After setting your desired dimensions and resolution, click OK to apply the changes. Photoshop will resize the image accordingly, adjusting its pixel dimensions and resolution based on your inputs.

In the Save for Web dialog box, choose the appropriate file format (JPEG, PNG, etc.) and adjust the quality settings to balance file size and image quality. Click Save to store the resized image.

9. Post your image to your desired website or area.
